For whatever random reason I got it in my head that I needed to try making something from leather. I'm not sure where the thought came from, but I found a pattern on Etsy for a leather wallet I could cut with my glowforge, and I got some leather, and created this beauty. Why? I really can't say. I do like the stitching and could see how people can really enjoy this. If I had something to hold it steady while using both hands to stitch this project would've been a lot of fun. If it were something I was invested in it would definitely be worth purchasing high-quality materials and tools to make it successful. I powered through and am satisfied with my project, though, and that's always my goal.
