Religious/Thinking of You/Blank-Inside Cards

Here are a few cards I made over the last few snowy/icy days. We're done with snow at the moment but not the cold temperatures. Today the high is 22, wind chill 17. (-4 this morning!)

I used Divinity Designs 'Happy Birthday' stamp for the flowering can. The paper is from DCWV's Fairytale Floral stack. I colored the stamp with Copic markers.

I used my Cricut Explore  to cut the frame for this one. The stamp is from 'Be Joyful' from Divinity Designs.

I love these 'fancy frames' dies I cut using my Cricut Cuttlebug. The quote is from 'God Quotes 2' from Divinity Designs.

I seem to go through phases of coloring well. This flower stamp is 'Magnolia Vintage Labels Seven' from JustRite Stampers and the quote is from Divinity Design's 'Scripture Collection 11.'

This stamp is from 'God Quotes 2.'

Here's another watering can from the 'Happy Birthday' set from Divinity Designs. It was a challenge to stick with colors that matched the background paper, and not that I necessarily like!

This is another one that's not quite my usual style. This scripture quote is from 'God Verses 2.' The rest was cut with my Cuttlebug.

DCWV Spring Bloom Cards

Happy Easter! I've been working on a few more cards over the last couple of days using DCWV Spring Blooms paper and Our Daily Bread Design dies and stamps. The gold foil paper makes some of the pictures not turn out so great, but you can believe they're cute in person!

More Cards!

Wow! With Spring Break happening I've spent SO MUCH TIME in my craft room! Here are a few more cards I've made this week.

As a little birthday present to myself I bought the 2018 Anniversary Bundle from Our Daily Bread Designs. It included the all of the circle cuts and quote/verse stamps used. The watering can stamp came from the Happy Birthday stamp set from them, also.

This paper is from DCWV Linen Closet stack. I've had it for ages and thought it was too beautiful to use.

Here is the birthday watering can.

Another birthday present to myself was this brand new stack, Spring Bloom, by DCWV. I'll be hopefully adding more cards soon from that paper line.

Snow Day Cards

I used paper from Our Daily Bread Designs and an embossing folder cross from Darice, colored with my Copic markers. The stamp on the inside is from Our Daily Bread Designs also.

Here is a sympathy card I made using Just Rite Vintage Labels Seven and colored with my Copic markers.

I've been playing around with embossing powder and used stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs to make this sweet card for my husband's cousin who is getting married this weekend.

This is a card I made with a cuttlebug plate and embossing folder. I colored the pieces with my Cricut. My husband's niece is having a baby shower this weekend so we needed a totally adorable card- it's cuter in person.

And... Happy Spring!

A few summer cards

I've been playing around with Faber Castell Gelatos this summer, as well as water-soluble wax pastels (basically watercolor crayons). My goal was to figure out the best materials to use while Bible journaling, but I colored a few sets of flowers during practice. Here's a card I made with the gelatos and a stamp from Papertrey Ink.  The inside note was a wooden stamp I bought on clearance years ago and always forget about.

I used the same stamp on the inside of this next card, a beautiful bouquet of tulips colored with Copic markers. The flowers are from Papertrey Ink.

I used the same hydrangea stamp as before with water color crayons to create this weird but cool effect. The inside is blank.

I colored these Papertrey Ink strawberries a few months ago and added my own Copic Pen scribbling around the edges. Tonight I finally finished it by adding a sentiment, though I wish I had neater handwriting!

I love this card. It makes me want Autumn! The stamps were Papertrey Ink (I was obviously on a 'friendship jar' kick for awhile) and the sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

And another bouquet of tulips to finish off the evening.

Cards and CREATE

I found this adorable decal at Joanns with 3-D shapes in each letter to fill in a little space beside my stamping cart. I bought it right after Christmas but it took me awhile to decide on where to put it.
Here are a few cards I made using a new set of papers from American Crafts. I LOVE the paper! (Although I did add in some extras here and there from another set).

My basement guest room has a deep window that is eye-level with our drive-way. When we moved in I decorated the room with a dark cottage co...
