Random Summer Projects

I've been playing with my new sublimation printer and made these keyrings with canvas ribbon and a picture I took of some flowers from our trip to Ireland a few years ago. I'm still learning and experimenting with technique, and although the printer has been a dream, my Cricut heat press gave out on me the same day I got my printer, and I purchased a bigger heat press from Amazon and it didn't work. It took me nearly a month to get a replacement and by then I've been busy with other things. Having tools not work takes all the fun out of projects for sure!

I saw these bookmarks on TikTok and wanted to try them out.

More sublimation. Here are some luggage tags, including a picture of my cute little Elsie Mae.

Here are some zipper pouches I made with leftover fabric. I just can't get the hang of them for some reason. I don't know if it's because I'm not great at the math, or if I'm just a perfectionist who can't let things go, but I feel like every couple of months I come back to these and I just can't do them right.

A few more things I made. This bag ended up being way bigger than I thought it would be. First, and probably last, of its kind.

King Quilt

I am so, so excited to finish this King Quilt. I made up the pattern after making lots of quilt blocks using a fat quarter bundle from Cottoneer Fabrics, and found the background fabric and backing at my local quilt shop. I wanted a new quilt for my bed, and thought this was so homemade, old-fashioned, and cute!

Bee Garden Quilt

Over the summer I found the most gorgeous bee inspired fabric from Moda, by Gingiber. I have been following a tikoker who challenged herself...
